Emmanuel Gregoire

First Deputy Mayor, City of Paris

Born in 1977, Emmanuel Gregoire graduated from the Institute of Political Studies Bordeaux and also holds a licence in philosophy. He specialized in organizational sociology and communications systems and began his career as a consultant. He worked 10 years in NICT and the health sector.

In 2009, he became chief scheduler for Bertrand Delanoë, former Mayor of Paris. A position he held until his departure for the Prime Minister’s cabinet where he worked as Chief Private Secretary  until April 2014. 

As of April 5th, 2014 Emmanuel Grégoire was  appointed as a Deputy Mayor of Paris, initially in charge of Human Resources, public utilities and modernization of public administration; then as of October 2017 in charge of Budget, Financing and Transformation of public policies

On September 24, 2018, appointed by Mayor Anne Hidalgo as First Deputy Mayor in charge of Finance, transformation of public policy and relations with city boroughs.
