Crédit Agricole
The energy transition is more important than ever for all economic players, including banks. There is an urgent need for a carbon-free economy, but we must take care not to make such profound changes to the detriment of the most vulnerable among us.
To this end, Crédit Agricole is adopting a Climate Strategy in line with the Paris Agreement. Developed in all its business lines, the strategy aims to gradually reallocate financing portfolios, investment portfolios and assets managed in the company to combat climate change. Crédit Agricole aims to become the energy transition bank, with a goal of eliminating coal from the EU and the OECD by 2030, making green finance one of the Group’s keys to growth.
